Photo Gallery of Cetenario Beach - La Paz

La Paz means Peace in Spanish and certainly all agree, modern La Paz lives up to its name. Spanish explorer Hernan Cortez, drawn by the clear still water of a protected bay on The Sea Of Cortez occupied what is now La Paz in 1535.

La Paz still maintains its authenticity as a charming Mexican city, rich with culture and history. Unlike Cabo San Lucas to the South, La Paz was a thriving community long before the tourists came ashore. Natural beauty permeates the city, with sandy beaches and the cactus-covered Sierra de La Laguna to the green mangroves north of town. Several uninhabited islands can be seen and and explored by boat from one of the three La Paz marinas.

CENTENARIO BEACH is a dream that you can make come true.
